1988-90

The start of a new era for United as Chris Turner brought in Dublin, Daish, Kimble, Leadbitter, Shaggy etc, before making way for player-manager John Beck.

In 1990 United reached the FA Cup quarter final (home to Crystal Palace) and the fourth division play-offs.

The strip was made by Scoreline and was similar the the previous Nike kit, with a new sponsor, Howlett. The away strip was white with black sides.
